This book was SO popular in the book club and while I couldn't get Abby on, I still wanted to discuss one of my favorite books with y'all, so I invited Bring Your Own on to chat because it is one of their favorite books, too! This is definitely an Abby Jimenez lovefest, but we also discuss how BYO got started podcasting, what they think about Gilmore girls even though one of them has never seen it, and of course, all the things we love and feel questionably about in Part of Your World.     On this lovely Thursday, I am joined by Jessica Joyce, the author of Reading Is Sexy's August pick-- The Ex Vows. Georgia, the main character of The Ex Vows, is a blend of Rory's character traits with Lorelai's lost relationship with Luke. Jessica has noticed some patterns about releasing your first and second novels and shares how she gets her brain ready to write. She's of course a Gilmore girls fan and reveals which of Rory's team she's on and why! We love a why! And of course, we have a spoiler chat about The Ex Vows (listen out for the warning!) and how crafting such beautiful emotional arcs for both Georgia and Eli was a lot like taking them to therapy.
