While at its heart, it seeks equality between men and women, it has become a misunderstood phenomenon.  We unpack the idea of feminism, what it means to be a feminist, the ultimate goal of the movement and the biggest misconceptions about feminism. 

Our guest Patience Phiri sheds more light on Feminism. Patience "Pat" Phiri is a feminist, a creative entreprenuer, an artivist, television and events host, socialite and mother of one. She is most known for the talk show, Queening With The Empress, her time with Skyz Metro FM, The Chit Chat Talk show and most recently as the host of the Bulawayo Arts Awards.

She has done all this while pursuing a degree in Language and Communication as well as a diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy.  Stha as she is popularly known is passionate about empowering young people especially when it comes to their sexual and reproductive health.
