Are You Really Fueling Enough with Caroline Burkholder, RD (Episode 105)

Are You Really Fueling Enough with Caroline Burkholder, RD (Episode 105)

Here at Girls Gone Gravel, we're pretty vocal about how much women need to eat. And it's A LOT, especially if you're active and performance-minded. However, we're not professional nutritionists or dieticians so this week, we welcome Caroline Bulkholder onto the show to school us on all things disordered eating.
Caroline is a registered dietician nutritionist and the owner of her own nutrition and counseling company for eating disorders called RootED. Caroline tells us about her own journey with disordered eating, and her path to moving away from this and to a place of nurturing and nourishing herself. Further, she dismantles many ideas around how much women "should" eat, and the consequences of underfueling.

Thank you guys for this awesome podcast, I feel like I made new friends, and I am learning so much!
You guys should interview Cynthia Frazier, she is the organizer of the race Gravista in Virginia and just an absolute beast on the bike. She won Unbound XL this year.

Love GGG podcast

Keep up the great conversations and interviews, Ladies! I really adored episode 101 with Alli and Anne, giving a great overview of the Tour de F Femmes. (I was still learning so much about this race from this episode!) I adore the passion, the knowledge about the athletes, and how this podcast showcases both the athletes, and the leaders in the athletic industry who are pushing womens sports engagement further!!! We are so thankful for this progressive action. (PS- I loved that Alli was dropping F-bombs!!! Such passion. Stay authentic! No apologies!)
