Give Your Patient the Best Experience Possible: An Interview with Jenn Perna

Pelvic PT Rising

Jenn loved working in orthopedics, but like so many struggled with the 'mill' model when she was seeing 20+ patients each day.

After having her own children she dealt with her own pelvic health issues and "just felt like there was no support."  There was no help for her as an entire human being.

When Covid hit and she was laid off from her job, it was the push she needed to start her own business to provide the kind of care she wishes had been available for her!

As she says, "From my personal journey through it, I understood what I wanted to be - and not be - as a provider."

Most people skip past thinking through their Vision & Values.  Jenn has thought deeply about the experience she wants for each of her patients.  And it shows in everything she does at Vivid Women's Health.

She talks through her challenges with starting Vivid, including hearing from physicians she knew they would no longer refer patients because she elected to go out-of-network.

Even though she was extremely successful and had a full schedule (and was hiring!) Jenn called us for mentorship because:

"I was seeing too many patients in order to grow the business the way I wanted to.  I started seeing systems starting to fall through.  I started seeing I wasn't calling patients back fast enough....There's no manual for running a business"

Jenn's team at Vivid now includes her and two other physical therapists, as well as a front desk administrator.  Even better, she's continuing to grow and is now hiring (so if you live near Newton PA or would like to, make sure to reach out!

She's creating the job she wished had existed for her when she was starting out.  She's integrated with her local community and has truly 'Found her Tribe', making friends along with way with 'competitors.'

Hear about her entire journey, and make sure to share and tag in your stories!
