I just listened to Jess’ first episode about getting rammed by a cow in India and chuckled and groaned with sympathy throughout. I’ll be listening to more podcasts. Like Jess, I’m a global nomad. As a child in the 80s & a teenager in 90s, I lived and traveled with my family throughout East Asia and Southeast Asia, even attending a Chinese school in Nanjing before there were any English language schools. During my early twenties, I travelled throughout Europe and lived in Spain. In my mid 20s to mid 30s, I made 16 trips to India. I think I’ve visited 40 countries by now, but it’s the ones where I lived for long periods (China, Spain, India) that changed me the most. The pandemic and my young kids have slowed my traveling but I know that I’ll be able to return to it eventually, and I plan to travel with my kids beyond our “easy” trips to Canada & Mexico. Living and working abroad is the most transformative and enriching experience. Jess clearly has great tips to share for new travelers planning an international trip and for seasoned travelers who are planning a move abroad. Good luck Jess!

Jess brings on a wide variety of guests who get candid with their travel tips, illustrated through their own incredible stories and complemented by Jess’s too. She has a knack for keeping interviews conversational and makes you feel like you’re in the room with them, swapping stories about both shared experiences and entirely unlike your own.
