I agree with the other reviewer and am very frustrated by the host. She needs to let the speaker talk more. Also, NOT fond of the commercials that seem more mainstream and its disappointing to know that Consciousshift would agree to take money from these advertisers. Said it.

I love to listen to Julie Ann interview her guests. Julie Ann is insightful and asks deep questions. And is so respectful and professional while being kind. I recommend this podcast to anyone wanting to widen their minds and hears.

I started listening to the interview with Tim Landis of Howdy Homemade. The more I listened to the more interesting it became. I work with adults with intellectual challenges and feel the same about the fact that the majority of these folks would love to have a job and feel the significance of contributing to their community. Being inclusive of all types of people in all walks of life who are capable of participating and contributing to a company that gives them the opportunity to learn new skills and feel wanted and needed is missing in our society today. This podcast is great because it gives us a different way of looking at the world and the unlimited potential in all of us.

Wow! I just listened to the Interview of Howdy Homemade Ice Cream founder Tim Landis. It brought tears to my eyes. Being a mom with special needs adults, this really speaks to the needs of this population of adults. And Julie Ann Turner was able to bring out the special virtues of Tim. I really enjoyed this Podcast so much so that I’ve sent it out to teachers, paraprofessionals, family and friends. Thank you for opening our eyes, ears and hearts to this beautiful business model that Tim has established. From the feedback I’ve received of those who listened to the podcast, they are excited to find a shop close by and/or open a franchise — which is now on their Wish List. Thank you, Julie Ann, for bringing this to the attention of the world! The special needs community has so much to teach us if we’d only give them the chance.
