I’m a millennial social worker that works with college students, I don’t have time to keep up with the internet but I also can’t let the youths know I’m out of touch. This podcast is truly providing a public service. I love listening, the hosts make me laugh out loud, and I hope they can keep making this for as long as possible

I love listening to Milly and Alisa break down internet stories that the perfect combination of petty, ridiculous, but also a real reflection of societal ills. The pod is super well researched and organized, which I really appreciate. I will go touch grass now.
Small sample size but not for me

I’m an avid WNBA fan who decided to try out the podcast starting with the episode on Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark. There are a lot of awful, uncurious takes about this moment in the WNBA and I hoped this would be a departure. I thought based on this podcast’s title that it would offer some sort of nuanced cultural criticism to cut through boring, tired Twitter brain rot. I’m not sure if this is part of the podcast’s regular format, but the hosts essentially assumed listeners have no PRIOR context for anything related to Reese or Clark despite them being two of the most well-known basketball players in the zeitgeist. Not convinced either hosts give a single care about women’s basketball despite speaking about it from an authoritative place (I’m talking about Milly especially here). Felt diminishing to both players and the league as a whole. If you have a genuine interest in learning more about either of these players or the WNBA in general would not recommend this podcast. Maybe their other content is better!
