God Is Sovereign Over My Cancer.

Trusting God in any difficult life situations is always challenging for me but trusting Him when I am experiencing a life threatening disease is the hardest. Several years ago, I visited a dermatologist to examine several spots on my body that would not heal. They examined me and decided that it would be wise to take some samples for pathology. We did the procedure, and I went quickly on my way. A couple of days later, I was scheduled to attend a Bible conference in Florida with my brother. I was excited as I anticipated the slate of speakers and all of the wonderful preaching we were going to hear. It was going to be a great trip and I felt like I was on “top of the world.” Then my cell rang. It was the dermatologist. No problem, because I knew they were just going through the proper protocol and the test results were going to reveal that I had some terrible dry skin. I answered with an upbeat tone and the lady on the other end said, “Mr. Lee, we have found cancer.”
