"God Knows Where" is a podcast for people interested in exploring their faith off the beaten path. Maybe you've quit church. Maybe you're experiencing church hurt. Maybe you just want something different than your regular Sunday mornings. Brett Harris is a recovering Baptist pastor who willingly walked away from the pulpit. Join him in exploring the teachings of Jesus and the wisdom of the Christian tradition out in the open to see where God might be leading us. The good news is, if God knows where we're headed, then we don't have to know. We simply have to be open to what (and who) is in front of us to find our way. This journey will lead us to all kinds of questions, maybe even some answers, and corners of Christianity that often get ignored. Season 1 ("I Didn't Say That") took a look at the topics Christians love to talk about, but that Jesus never mentioned. Season 2 ("You've Never Read This") is all about stories in scripture that we never read in Church because they're taboo. Join us!

Healing: Hand Out
We’re healing hands today instead of legs. Well, not us, but Jesus. And the story we’ve got from Matthew, Mark, and Luke, shows us how we can learn to heal others like Jesus, especially when folks come to us in need.
Thanks for listening, y’all! I’ve been having some really great conversations about the podcast with others and am marinating on some new ideas for us here. Hoping to dig into them all more and bring them to you soon!

Healing: Leg Day
We’re back on our healing journey with a beautiful story about how Jesus heals our legs not for a long leap, but rather for the long haul from Gospel of Matthew. I hope you’ve enjoyed the start to this new series. Tell someone about it and if you like it, leave a review wherever you listen.

Healing In Person
This week's episode is short...really short, but with good reason and a little homework for you instead. Don't worry it's fun, good, healing homework. And there will be no quiz when we come back next week.

Offshoots: It Didn't Have to be This Way
Once again, we’re (sort of) continuing our newest series on healing, but not quite with a sermon I've preached on Palm Sunday in the past. We'll be back with new episodes all completely about healing next week. Promise! I hope you’ve enjoyed the start to this new series. Tell someone about it and if you like it, leave a review wherever you listen.

Offshoots: This Story Has Legs
We’re (sort of) continuing our newest series today on healing with a sermon I recently preached at First Trinity Presbyterian Church. I’m on vacation but I didn’t want to leave y’all hanging. It’s all about a story from Numbers that, to me at least, proves how important it is that we heal and heal from our wounds. I hope you’ve enjoyed the start to this new series. Tell someone about it and if you like it, leave a review wherever you listen.

Exploring our Faith off the beaten path…
…Is the PERFECT way to describe this show! Every episode has me rethinking a passage in the best possible way and wanting to talk to someone else about it! It helps me grow closer to God and others!
This show reminds me of why I love the Bible
Every episode provides honest and clear insight into a passage of scripture. I am never disappointed and always find new perspectives that deepen my faith and challenge me to be a better person.
Love this podcast series
Sometimes people become disillusioned with religion because of stress placed on doctrinal tenets that can overshadow Jesus’ teachings. As Brett pointed out in a recent episode, it is relatively easy to find Bible verses in support of contradictory positions. For those seeking a deeper relationship with God, this can be confusing and discouraging. Brett helps his listeners rise above the minutia of doctrinal arguments by focusing on Jesus’ teachings of how we should live our lives in relationship to Him and each other. His podcasts are filled with hope and guidance on how to be our best selves in Christ.
