    Introduction

What does the Bible say regarding God's Amazing love? God's love takes many structures all through the narratives of sacred writing. Portions of the Bible even allude to God as love itself. Love can be defined as wanting what is best for someone, which is exactly what God expects of us. God essentially loves you because He treasures you. You don't need to work for His kindness. You don't need to sort yourself out before God can pour His love over you. God loves you. It's difficult to get our minds around, but it's true. This is where the faith journey begins: understanding that God loves you. If you don't have an affirmation of God's love, your faith journey won't go very far. Fortunately, reading the Bible can assist with fortifying your faith in God's love. No power is more impressive than our heavenly Father's love for us, His children. His love can move mountains, stop the thundering oceans, recuperate broken bones and injured hearts, change lives, and set free those held hostages by transgression and disgrace. So extraordinary is His love for you and me that He sent His main child to bite the dust so we could survive Him. God is not a furious disciplinarian who shows love just when you succeed. He is a caring Father who will continuously cherish and safeguard you regardless. Make time today to gain an understanding of His love for you. Permit His love to protect you, recuperate you, change you, free you, and lead you to the generous life He has consistently yearned to give. Read, think about, and implore over these Bible sections about God's amazing love and security as you stroll in confidence today.

YOU ARE THE LIGHT IN THE DARKNESS

(Ephesians 5, Psalm 11)35. Remember the song “This Little Light of Mine”? Although simple, the song’s lyrics are packed with truth. When we find life in Christ, we are raised out of the darkness of our sinful state and become a light in an otherwise dark world. Jesus’ love illuminates a radically different way to live, transforming us and making us light for others in the darkness. This transformation into children of light happens as we follow Jesus’ example and walk in step with the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 5:7-10)36. Think of it like leaving a dimly lit office on a bright, sunny day. When you step outside, your eyes take a minute to adjust to the brightness. That’s how radically Jesus’ love changes our view. As we grow in our relationship with God, our eyes adjust, and it’s hard to remember what life in the dark was like. Evidence of our old selves—sexual impurity, greed, and coarse talk—disappear as Jesus’ love overflows from us. And the more we experience His love, the more we are compelled to sacrifice and submit to one another. We were made in God’s image, and it’s Him that our hearts long for. When Psalm 11:7 says, “the upright shall behold His face,” it’s talking about you. Don’t hide your light or let Satan blow it out. As you go about your day today, remember that you have received Christ’s love. Ever notice how someone in love glows at them? The glow that comes with remembering you’re Jesus’ beloved will be a light to everyone you meet.

TURN TO GOD WHEN YOUR HEART GROWS WEARY

(Galatians 6, Psalm 6)32. Desperation can lead us to do things we’d never imagine. When the pain is overwhelming, the pill doesn’t look so bad—when our debt is crippling, taking the deal or cutting a corner doesn’t seem like as big of a deal. “Dear brothers and sisters, if another believer is overcome by some sin, you who are godly should gently and humbly help that person back onto the right path... Share each other’s burdens, and in this way, obey the law of Christ. If you think you are too important to help someone, you are only fooling yourself” (Galatians 6:1-3)33. When it all gets too much, we need the gentle encouragement of a good friend. We need people who will help us keep going, who won’t look down on us for feeling tempted but will remind us who we are and the power we carry inside. In Christ, we are eternal beings. So whatever happens on Earth is not the be-all and end-all. It’s a snapshot of a much longer story. The Holy Spirit reminds us of that all the time. He’s the gentle voice that says, “Keep going, kid. This isn’t all there is.” If we draw near God in the hardest times, we’ll see His Spirit strengthen and shape us in ways we can’t imagine. Paul promises that if we do not grow weary in doing good, we will reap a harvest of blessing (Galatians 6:9)34. Sometimes that blessing comes in the form of a new job, an unexpected relationship, or a long-awaited answer to prayer. But other times, blessing is harder to point to. It’s the intimacy that comes after weeping to God, and the confidence that comes from Him show up in friends and church family.
