Goldman Stacks, a Chicago native turned Los Angeles-based artist and producer, began his musical journey at 15, mastering sheet music and playing instruments. Initially known as "The Young Hustla," he gained recognition for producing beats for local rap artists, including Chicago's Bump J.
His breakthrough came when he collaborated with Chingy, leading to an introduction to label executives and his role as an in-house producer for DTP Records/Def Jam Records at just 18. GS contributed to the Gold-certified "Battle of the Sexes" album and collaborated with artists like Bobby V., Playaz Circle (2 Chainz), and Ludacris.
GS's reputation grew, resulting in collaborations with Soulja Boy, Sean Kingston, Lil Wayne, Justin Bieber, and others. In 2008, he connected with Top Dawg Entertainment, leading to the 2009 mixtape "TDE: Chicago Edition – Vol. 1" or "The BlockAid."
Despite changes in the industry by 2010, GS maintains connections with labels, showcasing his enduring influence.
