The Double Bogey Show

This is a great podcast and a great show but Ryan….an Arnold Palmer has no vodka. Stop calling it an Arnold Palmer if you want vodka. A John Daly has alcohol. An Arnold Palmer is just iced tea and lemonade. It wasn’t the cart girls fault…it was yours. Now also, let’s get going on the breakfast ball/Double Bogey golf outing. Finally…it’s not a breakfast ball if it’s not used on the first hole. It’s just a mulligan. How can you have a golf podcast and not know how the FedEx playoffs work? This is ridiculous. Still calling it a breakfast ball when it’s not on hole 1. Why is this still happening!?

Love listening to your podcast. It fun listening to a bunch of guys who don’t take their game seriously. Would love to play with you guys!

While overall these boys put together a decent podcast their collective lack of knowledge on the game of golf, pro golf and many other sports is astounding.

Let me start by saying this entire show was built on the casual, double bogey golfer who likes drinking beers with friends. Everyone on the pod still holds this core value other than Ryan. After a string of episodes leading up to Pine To Palm of Ryan either talking a big game (we aren’t impressed) or complaining over every bad shot or double bogey he made, I had to leave. Ironically the next few episode descriptions indicate he was aware of this toxicity and tried to get back to “fun” golf. So I came back to the show today for the first round of the year only to hear Ryan dig at Tyler for multiple three putts and then brag about shooting an 82 in freezing temps but, and I quote, “would’ve been mad if I shot an 83.” So as someone who still has yet to break 100, I won’t be returning to this show until the golf hardo is gone for good.
