Good or Bad

What if when the truth is revealed, instead of repenting and turning away from the bad thing we have done, we justify ourselves and get others to take the blame for us? What if instead of accepting we are evil we accuse God of being evil? What if we lean on our own understanding instead of leaning on God, because what we think seems good?
