Great way to start living a sustainable lifestyle

I love this this podcast, it has lots of info and i love the people they interview as well. I love the options and information that they provide. I feel like i learn a lot with this podcast. But i do agree with some of the reviews they recommend a lot of products which i understand they need to make money somehow but some products that they recommend contain plastic for example i love 100% pure but their packaging is still in plastic containers. So i just wish they added a note or info saying why they think that product is eco friendly. I do wish they included more eco friendly volunteer options or ways the community can join as well. I hope they do that in the future but besides that it is a good pod cast to start off!

More evidence please

I was excited when, in the pvc episode, the host claimed dislike for fear mongering and causal misuse of the word toxic. Then, both “toxic” and “health harms” were thrown out like candy through the episode with zero discussion of the evidentiary basis. I’m not asking for detailed discussions on study methodologies but X, Y, or Z have shown a,b,c adverse impacts based on exposure to products made of pvc should be standard practice. Otherwise, you’re not informing your listeners, you’re fear-mongering. And the majority of the population doesn’t have the luxury of calling up manufacturers to find the one that doesn’t use pvc in kids’ sandals and paying for that.
