Encouraging, informative, and challenging messages from Gospel City Church services, primarily verse-by-verse through books of the Bible.
Acts 4:1-31 // Bold
A boldness marks the Church in the Book of Acts that was necessary in light of the persecution the Church faced back then. And this same boldness needs to mark the Church today if we are going to continue to follow Jesus faithfully in a world that stands in opposition to Him.
Acts 3 // Available
God works a miracle through Peter and John, who direct all the glory back to Jesus and call the gathering crowd to repent. Their example reveals the one thing those who desire to be used by God need to understand.
A Biblical Perspective on Abortion

Making Disciples (Part 2 Continued)
the early church devoted themselves to. We’ll contemplate how and why disciples of Jesus are to devote themselves to those same things in the Church today.
Acts 2:42-47 // Making Disciples (Part 2)
The work of making disciples is not finished after someone is born again. Jesus didn’t commission His Church to go and make converts; He commissioned us to go and make disciples. The real work of discipleship begins after a person becomes a Christian. In this message, we begin examining what discipleship looked like in the first months of the Early Church.
Acts 2:37-41 // Making Disciples (Part 1)
After Jesus rose from the dead He gave His disciples the command to go and make disciples. Then Jesus ascended to Heaven. And then His disciples waited and prayed for 10 days in Jerusalem until the Holy Spirit came upon them. That was the day the Church was born. And on the very first day the Church was born, we see the disciples of Jesus begin to do the very thing Jesus commanded them to do - make disciples.
Love the message! Hate the gum! 😅
Man I sure do love listening to your sermons on my way to work each day! Today I listened to Genesis 1:3-5 and the teacher in me wanted to send you to spit out that chewing gum.🤪 But great stuff nevertheless. I love it. Thank you.
Modern day John the Baptist right here
My goal is to listen to every single sermon Pastor Thompson has preached. My life is forever changed because of his ministry. I liken his preaching to eating a gourmet meal of teaching the Word of God. The quality and insight of his teaching is absolutely superb. He is a gifted communicator, has profound insight into the deeper truths of God's Word, never seeks to bring glory to himself, and is very thoughtful in his doctrine and theology to ensure that it lines up as perfectly as possible with the Word of God. If you want to hear more of his messages from years prior to 2016, you'll have to download Podbean or listen on the website. Go listen to Revelation!!
My favorite podcast in the world. If you have questions, I guarantee you’ll find some answers here.
