Victory in Prayer _ Pastor Joseph Doosi

Hello Everyone ! Greetings to you all in Jesus Name According to the Bible in Matthew 26:41, it says that, “Watch and pray that you may not enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak." And in the book of James 5:13, it says that, Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praise. In the Bible 1 Timothy 2:8, it says that, I desire therefore that in every place men should pray, without anger or quarreling or resentment or doubt [in their minds], lifting up holy hands. Isaiah 59:1, it says that, Surely the arm of the Lord is not too short to save, nor his ear too dull to hear. But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear. John 9:31, it says that, “We know that God does not listen to sinners. He listens to the godly person who does his will.” Exodus 2:3, it says that, But when she could hide him no longer, she got a papyrus basket[a] for him and coated it with tar and pitch. Then she placed the child in it and put it among the reeds along the bank of the Nile. 1 Samuel 1:10, it shows about Hanna that, In her deep anguish Hannah prayed to the Lord, weeping bitterly. Acts 16:25, it says that, “About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them. Proverbs 28:9, it says that, If anyone turns a deaf ear to my instruction, even their prayers are detestable. Genesis 17:20, it says that, And as for Ishmael, I have heard you: I will surely bless him; I will make him fruitful and will greatly increase his numbers. He will be the father of twelve rulers, and I will make him into a great nation.

Genesis 26:1-5, “Now there was a famine in the land—besides the previous famine in Abraham’s time—and Isaac went to Abimelek king of the Philistines in Gerar. 2 The Lord appeared to Isaac and said, “Do not go down to Egypt; live in the land where I tell you to live. 3 Stay in this land for a while, and I will be with you and will bless you. For to you and your descendants I will give all these lands and will confirm the oath I swore to your father Abraham. 4 I will make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and will give them all these lands, and through your offspring[a] all nations on earth will be blessed,[b] 5 because Abraham obeyed me and did everything I required of him, keeping my commands, my decrees and my instructions.” In the Bible, Genesis 26:12, it says that, “Isaac planted crops in that land and the same year reaped a hundredfold, because the Lord blessed him.”

In the Bible, in Genesis 41:40, it says about Joseph that, “You shall be in charge of my palace, and all my people are to submit to your orders. Only with respect to the throne will I be greater than you.” Daniel 6:2, it says that, with three administrators over them, one of whom was Daniel. The satraps were made accountable to them so that the king might not suffer loss. 2 Chronicles 34:1, it says that, “Josiah was eight years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem thirty-one years. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord's will is. In the Bible, Ecclesiastes 11:9-10, it says that, “You who are young, be happy while you are young, and let your heart give you joy in the days of your youth. Follow the ways of your heart and whatever your eyes see, but know that for all these things God will bring you into judgment.” Genesis 39:7, it shows about Joseph’s Charter, “And it came to pass after these things, that his master's wife cast her eyes upon Joseph; and she said, Lie with me. 7 And after a time his master's wife cast her eyes on Joseph and said, "Lie with me." 7 and Potiphar's wife soon began to look at him lustfully. “Come and sleep with me,” she demanded. Hebrew 11:24-25, It was by faith that Moses, when he grew up, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter. 24 By faith, Moses, when grown, refused the privileges of the Egyptian royal house. He chose to be mistreated along with the people of God rather than to enjoy the fleeting pleasures of sin.

Psalms 19:10, it says that, “They are more precious than gold, than much pure gold; they are sweeter than honey, than honey from the honeycomb.” Luke 4:16, it says that, And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up; and he went to the synagogue, as his custom was, on the sabbath day. And he stood up to read; [17] and there was given to him the book of the prophet Isaiah. According to the Bible, in Psalms 132:1, it says that, Of David. I rejoiced with those who said to me, "Let us go to the house of the LORD." In the Bible, Exodus 20:8, it says to us that, “Remember the sabbath day—keep it holy” Acts 2:46, it says that, “Every day they devoted themselves to meeting together in the temple area and to breaking bread in their homes.” Psalms 27:4, it says that, “One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; That I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple.” Psalms 84:2,10 - Korah sons from bible say that, My soul yearns, even faints, for the courts of the LORD; my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God. In verse 10 it says that, “For a day in your courts is better than a thousand elsewhere. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of wickedness. ” Two Characters from the Bible Who wanted to Attend Church Consistently: Hanna 1 Samuel 1:7, Bible says about Hanna that, “And as he did so year by year, when she went up to the house of the LORD, so she provoked her; therefore she wept, and did not eat.” Hezekiah And Hezekiah prayed before the LORD, and said, O LORD God of Israel, which dwellest between the cherubims, thou art the God, even thou alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth; thou hast made heaven and earth.
