Their conversations are always riveting and push me deeper into neo-Calvinistic thought. As a reformed Baptist, they’ve got me thinking in much more robust ways about my own confession and how I inhabit the world in the 2024. Would love to see this program developed further in the future (website, blog post, etc).
Is this supposed to be neo-Calvinist?

I love they discuss neo-Calvinism, but I hate that they do it with modernist, woke, revolutionaries (the very people Kuyper waged battle against). Multiple sodomites affirmers on the show and are never qualified (Wolterstorf and Bratt), and Sutanto is more of a philosopher with that Biola baggage than a Kuyperian. I give it 2, rather than 1, because I’m able to listen with discernment but I fear for the young seminarian or interested lay person who knows no better. Pro Rege.

Episode 1 of Season 3 makes an all time high for this excellent podcast. This podcast is alwaysthought-provoking, soul-stiring, and challenging in the best ways. But a number of excellent insights come together in 3/1. Even if you think you know what Neo-calvinist political thought is, give a listen and learn something fresh and helpful.

A model of good conversation: rigorous, generous, and generative. Can’t wait for the next season. Until then I must recommend season 1 to others and re-listen to it myself because you’ve left so many gems along the way I couldn’t pick all of them up on first pass.
