Grape varietal shines at Cal Poly Winery

After wine grapes were named the highest-value crop in San Luis Obispo in 2023, this year the Cal Poly Winery faces a lower-yielding harvest, except for a grape varietal new to Cal Poly. Reporter Izzy Romero visited the Wine and Viticulture department to learn more.
