Santos Party House, Green House, Thompson Hotel, The  Mondrian Hotel, The Hudson Hotel, Tammany Hall, Williamsburg Music Hall,  Pranna Lounge, The Attic, West 3d Common, Free Candy, No.8 NY , The  40/40 Club, Los Globos, Mint Lounge, Library Bar DTLA, The Reserve and  Baja Beach Club are some of the many places he's played. In 2014, he won the Sprite Spinoff Battle in New York City. He travels around the country performing at music festivals. He has also performed at Afropunk  Atlanta, Afropunk NYC, 2018 Tennessee Gay Pride Fest, 2015 New York  Puertorican Day Parade, Vidcon, Vans Surf Competition, the 2018  Washington DC Folk Life Festival and much more. His extraordinary talent  to play for diverse crowds is why he is considered "The Sound of The  People" @Sakina_World Sakina Ibrahim is an NAACP Image Award-nominated Author, Creative, Social   Entrepreneur, and Professor of Dance. She has been featured on platforms such as  Aspire TV, Black Enterprise Magazine and Essence Fest and more. Sakina is a passionate woman whose brand focus is Movement,  Culture and Mindfulness. She has presented workshops centered in these elements institutions such as Drexel  University, George Washington  University (Black Girl Health Expo),  University of California Irvine,  the Boston Women's Conference, Michigan  State University, the Trayvon  Martin Foundation, and many more organizations and institutions. Saki na  holds a Masters of Fine Arts from the University of California, Irvine and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of the Arts. Her inspiring books include Big Words to Little Me: Advice to the younger self, Daily Moves: Affirmations for the  Millennial and a goal-setting guide A Hustler's Planner. Sakina’s performance credits include: Rennie  Harris RHAW, Beauty Shop the Play featured on OWN Network, Bayside the  Musical, Creed 2, Silver linings Playbook and more. Sakina received her theatrical training from Susan Batson Studios in New York and Michelle  Danner Acting Studio in Los Angeles. She has served as the Rehearsal  Assistant to Legendary Choreographer Donald McKayle and worked closely as the Assistant to Hollywood Creative Director Anthony Burrell.  Her work explores how to use the arts and literacy as a tool of empowerment  and self-discovery. She has worked for organizations such as Jill  Scott’s Blues Babe Foundation, The Dance Theater of Harlem, Mark Morris  Dance Center, and the Segerstrom Center for the Arts. Growing up with a  disabled family member, Sakina has always had an interest in the healing arts and began to study somatics, yoga and mind-body centering as modalities to help people restore and heal their body’s. Sakina continues to expand her passion of the arts, creativity and healing nationally through classes, workshops, speaking engagements, film and more.
