Getting closer and have a stronger relationship with my personal relationship with God.

I’ve been following Gravetop for some time and I can truly say having the podcast/instagram/FB handy has really come through. They have such a way with connecting with people that’s not over the top or even pushy, truly a community that embraces all individuals with fully being transparent which is not always heard of with the church. Highly recommended giving a listen and letting the word be heard by such a positive and embracing church. Not just a cliché, the real deal.

This church is truly a home and place that welcomes all with open arms and no judgements. Homer the pastor is a transparent real person who gives us the knowledge of the word in a real life way. Relating to everyone! Lauren is amazing with the children, my 5yr old daughter is actually learning about how different people accepted Jesus and God in their lives, and spread their message to others.

The Pastor at Gravetop Church spreads the word of God in a way that a normal guy like me is able to understand and relate to. Homer offers a whole new perspective on the word of God. I’ve always found my mind wondering, or unable to relate while listening to different messages from Pastors and various churches. This is the first time I’ve found myself engaged from beginning to end and left wanting more. His idea of what a Church should be, a community spreading faith, love, and trust with the word of God. Nothing is perfect but I can tell he gets up everyday and gives it his all. I’m not one to leave reviews but I feel like I need to share my experience in case someone finds themselves stumbling across a new place of worship expecting the same bs they’re used to.

Gravetop church has embraced the value of “love is an action and a choice”, there is truly genuine leaders and volunteers who make you feel so welcome when attending service! In such a short amount of time, I felt to be such a big part of Gravetop. Truly feels like a family! Side note: Love that these podcasts are available when this momma-to-be needs a recovery period. Love that I can replay on old messages and available when just needing a dose of Jesus during the week!
