You have done such a great service for so many of us. This is a game-changer. I send you all the love and appreciation one can send to a stranger! I have listened to many of your parts and I can say without a moment hesitation - you are kind, you are loving, you are good, you adore your children and - you were very very badly and unfairly hurt. Thank you for being such a brave trailblazer. You have given so much. Truly groundbreaking.
thank you

we are a newly discovered system of 5 alters. we don’t think we have DID we think we have OSDD 1a. we have a therapist but we haven’t talked to her about the system. i think this podcast will help us talk to her about our system. 4 of us are dating 3 alters in another system, it’s complicated. we usually call those three alters in that system our boyfriend even though it’s more complicated than that. our boyfriend has helped us come to terms with our system. our protector found this podcast and started playing it and it has helped us so much. their voice is just so calming. the worst part about our system (other than the trauma stuff) is that we are all boys but the body is female, we are also all autistic although a one of us is more severely autistic than the others, he’s also the youngest. often our trauma holder stays up till almost midnight just trying not to sleep because of nightmares, we are still in middle school and that makes it hard to stay awake in class, we can’t get mad at him though because he is trying to protect himself. we are all good at math and bad at english (we all have dyslexia), but every other subject we have varying skill for. we are all musicians but we each have our better instrument, i(host) am best at viola (like violin but bigger), our protector is best at guitar, our co-host is best at ukulele, our trauma holder is best at piano, our newest alter (we don’t know his role yet) is also really good at viola. our mom knows about our system but she doesn’t believe us, she also knows about our boyfriends system but she doesn’t know we are dating. our system has what we call brain rules, anytime we break a rule we have a shutdown, i don’t know all of the rules but i do know a couple: 1. avoid getting in trouble at all costs 2. if you eat or drink something and you get sick you can never have it again. those are the only two that i know but there are more. thank you to anyone who has actually read all of this i guess i could have just wrote this in our journal but i’ll leave it here for now. and thank you so much for making this podcast it really helped us. -jacob(host)
