Gugu went to Ukraine as an engineering student 12 years ago. He carved out a career as a DJ and a promoter amongst other things. He has a 5-year-old boy with a Ukrainian woman. He and his partner are friends but no longer together. This is the story of his escape. As an African, he has a very insightful take on the stories of racism at the border.
