Miami Now: a generation ñ podcast

Our guest on the 1st ep of the new season of the generation ñ / Miami Now podcast is Gus Cabrera who is the immediate past president of the LBA. We talked about their role in the community, spoke about growin' up down here, and (Gus is one of the best read guys i know) even talked his top 5 books. 

Gus is the Principal of Evergreen Venture Group, a consulting and real estate investment firm and previously worked with MasTec, Inc. holding several positions throughout his 18 year tenure, including Division Vice President where he was responsible for operations throughout South Florida, as well as Corporate Vice President of Business Development.

Gus current past president of the Latin Builders Association, one of the largest Hispanic construction associations in the United States and has been involved with the LBA for over 20 years.

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Florida International University. Born in Santa Clara, Cuba, Gus arrived in Miami in 1979 at the age of 10, and currently resides in Miami, FL with his family.
