Haiti In Focus

I could not even sit through a whole episode. Why create a podcast where you constantly compare American standards with Haitian? I understand they may want to give a frame of reference, but you can tell they aim this show squarely at white middle/upper-middle class people (probably like themselves) here in the States. As a result, there is a tone deaf quality to it—a disconnected feel, even. They probably are good people, this couple. But wow, they have so much to learn.

This exudes white privilege.

Is it not possible to discuss Haiti without constantly discussing the negative??? A more positive show would be appreciated. There is much good in Haiti which should be featured.

The standard narrative of how poor and dangers it is. Horrible podcast.
