Helpful and actionable advice
I just listened to the episode on Thoughts Are NOT Facts. It was packed with tips and strategies to help me deal with disempowering thoughts. The type of thoughts that in the past I’ve allowed to harm my relationships with friends, family and significant others. For me personally, the most insightful information that Jake Johnson gave in this episode was to accept the fact that theses thoughts will continue to enter my mind but it’s up to me to challenge these thoughts and question whether such thoughts are, in fact, true or merely figments of my imagination. The realization that I have the power to question the validity of my thoughts left me with a sense of empowerment after listening to this episode. I can’t wait for the next episodes to be released.
