Love the Local Focus
It’s so great to hear a podcast that’s all about the mythology of the Midwest. Listening about familiar and new places is giving me lots of achievable travel goals! Four stars because the storytelling could be smoother. The tone is comfortably conversational. These guys have the right amount of facts and hearsay.
Met these ladies at Frankenfest in Jackson and the Turner Dodge House
These ladies are the best! They spun local stories at a Halloween event at the Turner Dodge House in Lansing then I saw them again in Jackson at Frankenfest. I am on the podcasts about Mackinaw Island. I biked around there once and my bike went out of control down a steep hill. Don’t they have a Somewhere in Time festival there? I lived in CA and a friend of mine loved Somewhere in Time. Did we live in the same place? Same friends? Anyway, Inwould love to visit that fort at Halloween too. Keep up the great work!
A great listen
I love the conversational way the hosts discuss the topics in the friendly way. They speak to one another in a kind humorous way that is different than many other podcasts that really makes this a pleasant podcast to listen to while you’re working or driving
