    Episode 19 - Looking for LOVE in ALL the wrong places.

    Take a walk down memory lane with me to Dec. 20th, 2012. I'd left New York City, the only city I'd lived as an adult, to find the love of my life, a dog and a backyard with twinkle lights...in Texas.   You see, my path to my current life was not linear and it also really wasn't very pretty. I had to face my own patterns with men, hello...black widow spider. Yikes, that was not a fun realization. But sooooo necessary.  I had to learn how to create a love that I'd never seen before in my family, or in my life.     This episode is VERY different than most because it's actually an impromptu coaching session that happened with my friend and colleague, Mare. She attended my holiday workshop on Sunday, and came back on Monday...but was the only one. Which, as you will soon hear...was perfectly meant to be. Mare had been waiting by the phone to find out if her mother had passed away, and at the time of coaching session was still waiting for the call. She lost her father 3 months prior, and this will be her first holiday without either parent. NOT an easy time, and yet in this episode you will see how she was able to find some peace. Some power, and a whole lot of love. So grab a Kleenex for this one, and listen with open ears and an even more open HEART.  Grief isn't a stranger to any of us. And grief at the holidays hits even harder. My hope with this episode is that you are able to find some peace as you navigate the holidays without loved ones either recently or in the past.
