Remaining Strong in Love w/ Suzanne Chambers

Remaining Strong in Love w/ Suzanne Chambers

Today I have one of my favorite Bible teachers with us, Suzanne Chambers. Suzanne loves the Lord and loves others so well. She has studied scriptures for decades and decades, so wisdom oozes out of her. We chat about how to remain in God‘s love, especially during tough times, so that we can stand true and faithful in God’s truth for us. In doing so, help others in this hurting world receive His love. In a nutshell, Suzanne‘s advice to us is #1. Rehearse truth #2. Remember His love. Listen in, grab a friend, and let’s dive in to learn more. And please rate, review, and share this podcast with others so more people can receive God‘s love. We can change the world one person at a time through Jesus. Scripture: John 15:1-17 Contact info: Suzannechambers.net. “Living Letters” Angelhdavis.com

Battling Compassion Fatigue w/ Sharon Danley

Battling Compassion Fatigue w/ Sharon Danley

Here we go again...tumultuous times...more wars, upheaval and division. This has left people anxious, weary and feeling overwhelmed. Many caring souls are experiencing what we call in psychology, compassion fatigue ( a term that describes the physical, emotional, and psychological impact of helping others — often through experiences of stress or trauma. ) I've heard reports from prayer intercessors who feel overwhelmed in the process, as events seem to pile on top of each others. They are not sure how to pray; who to pray for; and some are wondering even if it makes a difference?
Join Sharon and I as we process the recent headlines and how to keep fighting the good fight of prayer; which for us as Christians, is the most compassionate thing we can do. I think you'll be edified and encouraged to keep up your own personal battle in prayer, as God's purposes are being ushered in through them. His light always overcomes the darkness. Be sure to like, rate and share this episode, so you can be part of brining hope and healing to a hurting world! One person at a time! Soli Deo Gloria.

“Hope in the Midst of the Unknown” w/ Heather Hill

“Hope in the Midst of the Unknown” w/ Heather Hill

Suffering? Know someone who is? Heather's testimony will be encouraging to you. Her's is not a neat and tidy testimony that is tied up with a bow. Her story is one of an ongoing trust in the Lord despite the unknown. And yet, it hangs on what is known based on what she has learned from her past experiences with God, through Meth addiction and now, cancer.
In her own words: "I have a story to tell! It's a story about how Jesus shows up in unexpected ways, at unexpected times, and does unexpected things ... It's a story about how Jesus leveled my expectations of him as I watched him work in my body, and in all the folks around me. He taught me how to ground all I know of healing solidly in truth. My story is one of healing, cellular and soulular, beautifully in process and full of hope. "

I am praying the the Lord will give you a level of soul healing as you listen. May your anchor be in the God of all Hope, Jesus, who never fails. Please like, share and review this episode, so you can be part of helping other's receive the hope and healing they need. Soli Deo Gloria~

For the Love of Our Children: Final Espisode

For the Love of Our Children: Final Espisode

We are wrapping up our series on Gender identity and kids. Today I'll share more stats, quotes and helpful tips to remember. Let's remember, most of all, as Christians, we have the God of hope on our side. He knows all and He created our kids to be alive for 'such a time as this'. I am praying that we all become equipped to help them live out their God given purposes and true identity.

God's commodity for thriving in life began in the Garden of Eden and included the boundary lines of gender, not to restrict us, but to give us true freedom and subsequently, our world could thrive. The big questions are: Who do you believe created mankind? Who do you believe knows what is best for mankind?

I talk about parents knowing what is best for their kids because they can understand more, anticipate what life will be like for them in the future and know pros and cons of choices. How much more then, would our Father know for us? Let's usher in peace for our children by trusting and believing what God our creator has said, and hold onto His healthy boundary lines for our kids, until they are able to do it for themselves.

Please rate, review and share this podcast so more people can hear and know the hope and healing that comes from sound psychology and Biblical truth. Let's be part of healing our world, one person at a time. Selah.

Insightful and so applicable. I feel like I’m in the counselors room. Thank you for sharing the wisdom!

The interview with Lisa Mason was timely, engaging, and well researched. As always, I appreciate the transparency of Angel and the people she interviews.

Hope Always

Hope Always…the book by this name is not
just more of what we already know. Dr. Michael
Sleethe's knowledge and perspective on
suicide is shared in this podcast bringing focus
and meaning to the stats, yes, and how the
facts way underrepresent the reality. But also,
the lens of Biblical insight is one that Jesus
followers need. The evil behind suicide is called
out in its life sucking and life taking reality. It's
time for the body of Christ to take this battle on
and not run from our calling to love others.
