All the guests are artists so they seem to bring in their general sense of ambition and purpose into their non-musical hobby, so it's always an interesting conversation to tune into. You get to learn about how guests got to the point in their artistic career and it's never the same for every episode. I'd say younger listeners in high school or college would enjoy hearing about their career tracks. The host is always ready to jump in to elaborate on topics in plain language and has great questions to ask so episodes are accessible, fun and informative. Sushi the cat sometimes comments so that's super cute too. 🐱

Patty is a wonderful host who takes the guests into interesting, thoughtful conversations in each episode. The tone is fun and casual and there is a nice mix of humor as well as some serious topics. I love learning about different hobbies/interests in each episode. There is quite a bit of variety in the hobbies people have, so there’s always something new to learn. In the first half of each episode you can learn about what it’s like being a professional musician and all of the different possible career paths people can take within music.
