Falsely betrayed

The host seems to feel betrayed, but it is a Californian first world problem type of betrayal. The final roll of someone who inspires is to abdicate their roll and kick the birds out of the nest. It ain’t easy I guess. Fly on you crazy diamond........ . . .

Loved this

Dan can really suss out the good stuff.

I respect the way Dan kept being nice and real and courteous, even as Michael, in the last episode, tried so hard to imply that mainly Michael was a friend of Richard’s.

Michael seemed to believe that, other than himself, even long time friends (like Dan!!) weren’t friends at all. Dan’s love for Richard shines through in every episode.

It’ll draw you in and keep you there.

I downloaded this after hearing a reference to it on mfm, but it took me awhile to listen. Once I did, I killed the first season in one afternoon. I never would have expected to find each of these topics to be so intriguing, yet the narrator does a phenomenal job of making them interesting and personal. Highly recommend it.
