Dr. Staten is the Associate Professor in the Department of Community and Global Health at the Indiana University Fairbanks School of Public Health. She is the principal investigator of the Diabetes Impact Project – Indianapolis Neighborhoods (DIP-IN), an eight-year project in partnership with three Indianapolis communities focused on diabetes prevention and control. Natalie, a DIP-IN project coordinator is a graduate of Indiana University Indianapolis with a Bachelors in social work and a Masters degree in Public Health.
