I was born and raised LDS, but left the high demand religion in my late 20s. I am a brazilian, living in the US, and while being a merber, I served as a consoler in the Relief Society of a small latin branch. I saw so many cases of domestic violence. I was so perplexed and wanted to report the abuses to the police. Everytime I was told not to report the abuse, because of complications of the abusers with their legal status in the US. It has been almost 10 years (I was only 25/ 26), but I carry so much guilt for not reporting, even today. Episode 3 was so hard to listen, because it is exactly what I experienced as a spectator.
Well done!

I was born and raised in the Mormon church. My family and I left the church 2 years ago when we could no longer believe that it is true. I just listened to the first episode of this podcast and feel like it is spot on!!! It is an honest and fair representation of what the church really is. Well done!

4+ decades as a faithful member, missionary and tithe payer. After climbing the latter of leadership I can testify the church weaponizes religion and faith to guard its image, protect abusers, shame victims and hoard its BILLIONS of financial reserves. Well done, sir!!
