a conscientious, well-produced peek at the complexities of New York’s sex party scene — bravo!

I appreciate that Hedonist is trying to educate about the poly/sex positive cultures. We're a largely invisible group. However, this podcast represents a lot of the issues in the community: a hyper-focus on cis-heteronormative perspectives and gives a lot of voice to the capitalistic coopting of the community. There's a lot more to the community and we're not for sale.

Uh oh...I think I might be hooked!

Honestly, I thought this podcast would be a bunch of SMUT. Maybe that's why I listened ;) It is more of a community survey, profilng the characters driving this subculture aboveground...lots of interesting stuff...if not XXX, definitely moments of thoughtful Xcellence .

Such interesting stories with awesome production quality. When does season 2 come out?

Real great pod so far. Comes at things at an angle that doesn’t have too much of a bias which lets listeners really go along with it in their own way. Sometimes I feel like sex positive podcasts can be a little bit shun-y towards people who don’t necessarily choose that life style but this one discusses the growth of the subjects from “outsiders” to “insiders” in a way that is fascinating, non judge mental, and inclusive, and reminds us that we’re all human. Also the host is cool.
