Helen Stanley: James Bond, Noel Gallagher, 405 Mi16, BMW E36, and the latest online car buying experience S3E9

My Dad's Car

Jon and Andy welcome Helen Stanley to My Dad's car this week. She may be familar to some of you having graced our TV screens on Goblin Works Garage and Motor Pickers to name but a few.
These day's Helen is working as an artist - check out her pop art here: helenstanleyofficial.com
Helen also hosts a podcast with her cousin, called Cars of the Macabre - take a listen in all the usual places.
Discussion on her own car influence starts with toys, and then builds into a love of watching James Bond with her Dad.
Her Dad had a few cool cars, a Peugeot 405 Mi16 and an E36 BMW 3 series. He also owned a classic Mini back when they were just regular cars... A vehicle Helen would love to own in the future.
On top of discussions about Helen's TV work, Andy also pitches the idea of Part-X, a new classifieds service aimed at bringing back the joy of the acronym and word limited for sale adverts.
We were most grateful to Helen for coming on - to date probably our 'most famous' guest. We hope you enjoy this episode as much as we did recording it.
