(Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Kevin Swanson Chinese Communists crack down on house churches Last month, one of the largest house churches in China, the Beijing Zion Church, was subjected to more raids. The church was banned by the government in 2018, but has continued to meet.  The most recent arrests included a church elder and 11 members. Also, 25 members of Taiyuan Xuncheng Reformed Church in Shanxi province were arrested, fined, and sentenced to 15 days of administrative detention. The members had refused to sign a statement that they would no longer participate in church activities.  North Korean soldiers face first combat in Russia's Kursk According to Newsweek, a Ukrainian senior official has reported the nation’s armies firing upon North Korean soldiers in Kursk on the border of Russia. This was the first action involving North Korean troops in the Ukrainian war. North Korea launched Intercontinental Ballistic Missile Speaking of North Korea, it launched another Intercontinental Ballistic Missile last week — setting another record of 86 minutes in flight. This was the first missile test in a year. This time the missile hit a record altitude of 4,776 miles and a distance of 621 miles, according to the official KCNA news agency. The Intercontinental Ballistic Missile has a range of 8,100 miles, capable of reaching the United States. North Korea also touts the fourth largest army in the world, complete with 5,000 tons of chemical weapons.  The military has already conducted a 35-kiloton nuclear test, twice the power of the nuclear bomb which was dropped on Hiroshima, Japan in 1945.  Experts believe that North Korea is in possession of as many as 200 nuclear weapons. Rasmussen polling: Trump ahead of Kamala by 3% Here in the United States, one of the few conservative polling organizations, Rasmussen Reports, has Donald Trump ahead of Kamala Harris by 3% going into today’s presidential election. Rasmussen also has Trump ahead in Pennsylvania by two percentage points. Plus, the former president leads in North Carolina by three points and Nevada by two. A billionaire election Today’s election will be a billionaire election.   Kamala Harris has received backing from 83 billionaires and the Trump campaign counts 52 billionaires, reports The Independent. The role of political action committees Super PACs, which take in donations of $5 millions and higher, are far more involved in the presidential race this year, as well. The political action committees backing the Donald Trump campaign have given $522 million more than they did in the 2020 campaign — a 300% increase. And the super PACs backing Kamala Harris have raised 50% more than they did for the Democratic presidential ticket in 2020. Kamala raised $1 billion; Trump raised $400 million Speaking of presidential donors, Kamala Harris raised over one billion dollars for her campaign, and Kamala Harris and Joe Biden together have spent $1.9 billion in this election.   By contrast, Trump has spent $400 million. Republican Bob Dole spent $70 million on his campaign for president back in 1996. And George W. Bush spent $180 million in 2000.  Bloomberg reports a total of $15 billion has been spent in the 2024 elections, up from $14 billion in 2020, and up from $6 billion in 2012. Dramatic contrast in celebrity endorsements for Kamala vs. Trump America’s entertainment cast of celebrities also showed up for this election, almost in unison, endorsing Kamala Harris in political advertisements and cameo appearances at rallies. Trump: Liz Cheney is “a radical war hawk” On October 31st, Donald Trump talked with Tucker Carlson for 90 minutes in Glendale, Arizona about his candidacy. He took issue with former GOP Congresswoman Liz Cheney of Wyoming, who has endorsed Kamala Harris, for being a war hawk. TRUMP:  “The reason she couldn't stand me is that she always wanted to go to war with people I don't want to go to war. She wanted to go she wanted to stay in Syria. I took them out. She wanted to stay in Iraq. I took them out. I mean, if it were up to her, we'd be in 50 different countries. Number one, it's very dangerous. Number two, a lot of people get killed. And number three, I mean, it's very, very expensive. We spent $9 trillion bombing the Middle East. And what did we get? Other than lots of dead people, including our people, we got nothing.” Trump emphasized that Liz Cheney liked to sound tough in her former ivory tower when sending American soldiers to unnecessary wars. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus How you can bless displaced Christians in Nigeria Open Doors reports that Muslim jihadists are resorting to displacement, violence, kidnapping and murder against our Christian brothers and sisters in sub-Saharan Africa. Right now, there are more than 16.2 million displaced Christians in the region—many of them forced to flee because of their faith in Jesus. Nigerian Pastor Barnabas, who was forced to leave his home, is blunt about the reality. He said, “It is not easy to live in an Internally Displaced Persons camp. If not for God’s intervention, if not for God’s love, I wouldn’t be where I am today.” The partners of Open Doors are on the ground in Nigeria and were able to get emergency aid to the camp where Pastor Barnabas lives. But there are so many more people, like Pastor Barnabas, who need help. Proverbs 11:25 says, “A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.” Madison Square Garden comedian insulted Puerto Ricans at Trump event At Donald Trump’s 3-hour-long Madison Square Garden campaign rally on Sunday, which attracted 20,000 people, a no-name comedian, Tony Hinchcliffe, delivered an inexcusable joke at the expense of Puerto Ricans. HINCHCLIFFE: “There’s literally a floating island of garbage in the middle of the ocean right now. Yeah. I think it's called Puerto Rico.” Sean Hannity asked Trump for his response on Fox News. TRUMP: “Somebody said there was a comedian that joked about Puerto Rico or something. I have no idea who he is, never saw him, never heard of him. What they've done is taken somebody that has nothing to do with the party, has nothing to do with us, and they try and make a big deal. I've done more for Puerto Rico than any president.” Biden calls Trump supporters “garbage” President Joe Biden reacted to the comedian’s remarks. BIDEN: “Donald Trump has no character. He only cares about the billionaire friends he has and accumulated wealth for those at the top. Now, he says immigrants are poisoning the blood of our country. Give me a break. He wants to do away with the birthright citizenship. And just the other day, a speaker at his rally called Puerto Rico ‘a floating island of garbage.’ “Well, let me tell you something. They're good, decent, honorable people. The only garbage I see floating out there is [Trump’s] supporters.” Trump to Biden: 250 million Americans are not “garbage” At a campaign rally on Wednesday in Green Bay, Wisconsin, Trump reacted to Biden’s remarks. TRUMP: “I have to begin by saying 250 million Americans are not garbage. (cheers) This week, Kamala has been comparing her political opponents to the most evil mass murderers in history. And now, speaking on a call for her campaign last night, Crooked Joe Biden finally said what he and Kamala really think of our supporters. He called them garbage. No way, (boos) no way. “My response to Joe and Kamala is very simple: you can't lead America if you don't love Americans. That's true.” (cheers) And Trump rejected the demonization of his supporters.     Supreme Court: Non-citizens in Virginia barred from voting, 800 million downloads of YouVersion Bible app, Happy Reformation Day!

(Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Jonathan Clark The disturbing Chinese-Iranian alliance China pledged support for Iran last week during the BRICS Summit in Russia.  BRICS is an intergovernmental organization comprised of the countries of Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa. Other affiliated countries include Iran, Egypt, Ethiopia and the United Arab Emirates. Chinese President Xi Jinping stated, “No matter how the international and regional situation changes, China will unswervingly develop friendly cooperation with Iran.” International Christian Concern warns, “China and Iran are known persecutors of Christians, and their mutual support could lead to increased persecution as both countries work to eliminate the practice of Christianity within their borders.” Growing Evangelical presence in Spain The Observatory of Religious Pluralism in Spain released a report on evangelical places of worship. There are 4,455 evangelical places of worship in Spain this year, up about 1,000 from 10 years ago. With atheism and agnosticism on the rise in the country, many religious groups are shrinking or just maintaining their numbers. Evangelicals are among the few groups seeing growth in the historically Catholic nation. Transit workers win lawsuit after being denied religious accommodation In the U.S., transit workers won a $7 million lawsuit after being denied religious accommodations for the COVID shot during the pandemic. The Pacific Justice Institute represented the former employees of the San Francisco Bay Area Rapid Transit District. The public transit service provided no accommodations for the workers’ religious exemption requests.  Kevin Snider, Chief Counsel with The Pacific Justice Institute, said, “The rail employees chose to lose their livelihood rather than deny their faith. That in itself shows the sincerity and depth of their convictions. After nearly three years of struggle, these essential workers feel they were heard and understood by the jury and are overjoyed and relieved by the verdict.”  Supreme Court: Non-citizens in Virginia should be barred from voting The U.S. Supreme Court sided with Virginia yesterday in the state’s attempt to keep noncitizens from voting. Virginia officials had removed over 1,600 voter registrations of noncitizens over the last couple months. The Biden administration sued Virginia, and a federal court ordered many of the registrations reinstated. However, conservative justices on the Supreme Court granted an emergency appeal to Virginia’s Republican administration.  Virginia Attorney General Jason Miyares responded, "I am pleased to announce that the U.S. Supreme Court granted Virginia's emergency stay to keep noncitizens off our voter rolls.” 800 million downloads of YouVersion Bible app The YouVersion Bible app has surpassed 800 million downloads globally. The app includes over 2,000 translations. Most downloads come from outside the United States like in Africa, India, and Latin America.  Bobby Gruenewald, the founder of YouVersion, told CBN News that Bible engagement is growing around the world. GRUENEWALD: “The narrative that people no longer read the Bible is simply not true. We have evidence and empirical data, real data, not just a survey that someone had somewhere, that indicates that there is momentum globally around Scripture engagement. “So, we should be encouraged to know that that God's Word is very alive and well, and if anything, more relevant to today's culture than maybe ever before in human history.     Nigerian Muslims beheaded 4 people, Kamala calls Trump a “petty tyrant”, Pakistani Christian orphanage well fully funded

(Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Jonathan Clark and Adam McManus Nigerian Muslims beheaded 4 people including a Christian Open Doors UK reports that Muslim extremists beheaded four abducted individuals recently in northeast Nigeria. At least one of them was a Christian. The terrorists released a graphic video of the murders and are believed to be from Boko Haram. In the video, an armed terrorist said, “Wherever there is an infidel, we will go and find them out by ourselves and execute them.” John Samuel with Open Doors said, “Boko Haram extremists have clearly said time and time again that they are waging a jihad against people they call ‘infidels’ – that is anyone who does not sign up to their extreme interpretation of Islam. Some of the people at the top of this list, then, are Christians who are clear targets because of their faith.” 60,000 Brits sign freedom of prayer petition Alliance Defending Freedom released a petition for freedom of prayer in the United Kingdom. this month. Already, nearly 60,000 people have signed it. Authorities in the U.K. recently convicted a Christian of violating censorship zones around abortion mills. Army veteran Adam Smith-Connor had simply prayed silently near an abortion mill! Alliance Defending Freedom sent the petition to U.K. Prime Minister Keir Starmer. It states, “Freedom of thought is our most basic and precious of rights -- and has long been recognized in British law and every major human rights document from the Universal Declaration of Human Rights onwards.” Proverbs 29:2 says, “When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; but when a wicked man rules, the people groan.” Kamala calls Trump a “petty tyrant,” likening him to King George III Last night, Vice President Kamala Harris made her campaign’s closing argument in a speech at the Ellipse in the nation’s capital, reports The Epoch Times. Her campaign claimed that 75,000 people were in attendance. The rally was located at a symbolic site for two reasons. First, it had a direct view of the White House. And secondly, it’s the place where Trump delivered his speech on January 6, 2021, that preceded the Capitol breach. HARRIS: “Nearly 250 years ago, America was born when we wrested freedom from a petty tyrant. Across the generations, Americans have preserved that freedom, expanded it, and, in so doing, proved to the world that a government of, by, and for the people is strong and can endure. (cheers) “Those who came before us, the patriots at Normandy and Selma, Seneca Falls and Stonewall (cheers), on farmlands and factory floors, they did not struggle, sacrifice, and lay down their lives only to see us cede our fundamental freedoms. (cheers) “They didn't do that only to see us submit to the will of another petty tyrant.  (cheers) These United States of America, we are not a vessel for the schemes of wannabe dictators.” GOP Congressman: People are done with Kamala’s fear mongering Appearing on The Angle with Laura Ingraham on Fox News, Republican Congressman Byron Donalds of Florida rejected the nasty tone, fear mongering, and unsupported accusations in the waning days that Kamala Harris has adopted.     Ugandan pastor and family burned to death, Public profanity more common, Archbishop of Canterbury compromises on Biblical sexuality

(Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Kevin Swanson Ugandan pastor and family burned to death A pastor and his family were burned to death in a house fire in Eastern Uganda, reports The Christian Post. The bodies of Pastor Weere Mukisa, his 25-year-old wife, Annet Namugaya, and their two daughters, 7-year-old Judith and 4-year-old Sylvia, were found consumed in a fire set in the early morning hours of October 13th. The pastor had been threatened by local Muslims for evangelizing among the local Muslim population. The pastor’s brother said, “When the three young Muslims converted to Christ, my brother started receiving threatening messages that he should stop any contact with the three converts, and that the act committed is against the teaching of Islam to not join the religion of infidels.” Canadian government persecuting 74 Amish In other news, the Canadian government is persecuting 74 members of the Amish community in Ontario for their failure to download a Covid-19 app despite the fact they have no access to smart phones. The government has also placed liens on the Amish farms for those incapable of paying the fines.  Russia has gained control of Donetsk, Ukraine The Russian army has gained control of 478 square kilometers of Ukrainian territory in the ongoing war, mostly in the Donetsk region in the month of October. That’s the first major gain since March of 2022. The Kiel Institue of the World Economy reports that the Ukrainian conflict has already drawn $128 billion from Europe and $92 billion from the US. Meantime, Russia is increasing its military budget by 25% to $145 billion in 2025 — a full 32% of the nation’s government budget, reports Reuters.  Archbishop of Canterbury compromises on Biblical sexuality The leading cleric in the Church of England, Justin Welby, was asked in an interview last week what he thought about acts of sodomy. The Archbishop of Canterbury approved of the sexual perversion in these words. WELBY: “Where we've come to is to say that all sexual activity should be within a committed relationship, whether it's straight or gay. In other words, we're not giving up on the idea that sex is within marriage or civil partnership.” Some within the Anglican Church are now calling for the archbishop’s resignation. Proverbs 25:26 points out that, “Like a muddied spring or a polluted fountain is a righteous man who gives way before the wicked.” House sales hit lowest level since 1995 Annual sales of existing single family homes in the United States have dropped to the lowest level since 1995, reports The Wall Street Journal. That’s almost 30 years ago!   Buyers are revolting against high prices. For example, the median price of a condo is $360,000, up from $165,000 in 2013.  Bitcoin, gold and inflation are up Bitcoin is hovering around $69,000, approaching an all-time high again, up 4.5% from three years ago. Gold is up 61% from three years ago, now selling at $2,740 per ounce. And inflation is up 16% over the last three years.  Public profanity more common Profanity is more common in the public forum.   A recent presidential candidate swore or cursed 13 times at a rally.   On the local level, KPBS of San Diego analyzed the city’s public meetings, and found an exponential increase in incivility, cursing, and swearing between 2020 and 2023. The number of uncivil exchanges in the public meetings increased from just two in 2008 to 167 in 2023. A recent survey produced by Harris X poll found that 68% of Americans over 65 years of age are bothered by the public use of profanity, and only 26% of 18- to 35-year-olds are bothered by it. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus 373 profess faith in Christ at Mississippi State Fair Earlier this month, nearly 200 volunteers with the Mississippi Baptist Convention Board shared Jesus Christ at the Mississippi State Fair. According to The Christian Post, Linda Burris said, “We made a record of 2,824 Gospel conversations with 373 of those praying to receive Christ.” Now that’s some good news about the Good News! In Luke 15:7, Jesus said, "I tell you that in the same way there will be more joy in Heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.” Michelle Obama urges men to vote for Kamala to ensure abortion At a Get Out the Vote rally in Michigan on Saturday, former First Lady Michelle Obama campaigned against Trump. She made the misguided claim that if men helped to elect Trump, they were putting the women in their lives in danger because of Trump’s desire to protect babies in the womb. Listen. MICHELLE OBAMA: “To anyone out there thinking about sitting out this election or voting for Donald Trump or a third party candidate in protest because you're fed up, let me warn you.  (boos) Your rage does not exist in a vacuum. (cheers) If we don't get this election right, your wife, your daughter, your mother -- we as women -- will become collateral damage to your rage. (cheers, applause) “Are you as men prepared to look into the eyes of the women and children you love and tell them that you supported this assault on our safety?” Truth be told, according to the 197-page report entitled “Unsafe: How America’s Abortion Industry Is Endangering Women,” having an abortion poses a dramatically greater medical risk than delivering a baby. Obama took credit for Trump’s good economy On October 11th, former President Barack Obama campaigned for Kamala Harris in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He claimed that Trump had a good economy because he, Obama, gave him a good economy, reports Axios. OBAMA: “The reason some people think, ‘I remember that economy when [Trump] first came in being pretty good.’ Yeah, it was pretty good because it was my economy! (cheers) It wasn't something he did.” GOP Congressman shows Trump’s economy twice as good Republican Congressman Byron Donalds of Florida took issue with Obama’s claim that Trump’s good economy was really Obama’s good economy. DONALDS: “I was working in finance during Barack Obama's administration. The economy under his last, especially the last five years, was growing at about 1% to 1.5% per year. At the time, President Obama was saying that, you know, this era of large economic growth is something of the past. Consistent economy meant one that barely grew. “So, when Donald Trump came in, he brought his tax cut policy in which he cut taxes across the board for everybody in our country, couple [with that] the fact that he did cut massive regulations. “Economic growth in the United States went from 1-1.5% under Barack Obama to 3-3.5% under Donald Trump. Wages, adjusted for inflation, increased for every subgroup of Americans. The wealth gap was closing. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Mozambique Muslims have killed 5,000 people, mostly Christians Bishop António Juliasse has given a harrowing account of the murders, mass displacement, and hunger that have afflicted Mozambique, Africa over the last seven years due to the ongoing Islamist insurgency, reports Aid to the Church in Need. He said Mozambique has faced “seven years of displacement; seven years of death; seven years during which people have lived with great suffering; of hunger, because they cannot farm their land due to insecurity; of disease, because there is no access to medication, or because the closest clinic has been destroyed. Seven years during which children have not been able to study as they should.” Muslim militants have killed 5,000 people, many of whom were Christians. Plus, one million have been displaced as a result of the violent clashes between Muslim insurgents, seeking to establish a hard-line Islamic state, and the Mozambique Defense Armed Forces. Aid to the Church in Need has provided emergency aid, pastoral assistance and counselling for displaced people, as well as vehicles for missionaries and the construction of homes and community centers. They called out in a loud voice, ‘How long, Sovereign Lord, holy and true, until you judge the inhabitants of the Earth and avenge our blood?’” Trump’s former chief of staff makes wild accusations which are refuted In an interview with the New York Times, Donald Trump’s former Chief of Staff, retired Marine General John Kelly, claimed that his former boss had praised Adolf Hitler's military and wished that he had the same. He also said Trump met the definition of a fascist and would govern as a dictator if elected a second time. Kamala Harris said this. HARRIS: “It is clear from John Kelly's words that Donald Trump is someone who I quote, ‘certainly falls into the general definition of fascist.’” Kelly’s comments were defused by a vehement denial from Mike Pence’s  former chief of staff, reports The Blaze.  According to Nick Ayers, Kelly's accusation is false.  Ayers tweeted, "I’ve avoided commenting on intra-staff leaks or rumors or even lies as it relates to my time at the White House, but General Kelly’s comments regarding President Trump are too egregious to ignore. I was with each of them more than most, and his commentary is patently false." In a campaign statement, Trump’s Communications Director Steven Cheung said, "Kamala Harris is a stone-cold loser who is increasingly desperate because she is flailing, and her campaign is in shambles. That is why she continues to peddle outright lies and falsehoods that are easily disproven.” When J.D. Vance, Trump’s Vice Presidential pick, was asked about it on the campaign trail, he said this. VANCE: “John Kelly was fired by Donald Trump, and he won't stop talking about it. Every time that John Kelly says something happened, you've got three or four people who are allegedly in the room when it happens, saying he's making it up. Even Mike Pence’s chief of staff said that John Kelly is making up a bunch of [stuff] about Donald J Trump. “So, who do we believe? Do we believe multiple eyewitnesses, or do we believe a disgruntled ex-employee? I believe the multiple eyewitnesses.
