Like listening to a friend tell you a story. No fakeness. No script per se.
Basically just follows the party line

Actually I like jk Rowling because she thinks for herself.

I feel like you should double and triple check that your information is correct before producing a podcast. First time listening, I really wanted to like it… Wayyy too much incorrect info. ✌🏼
Ruby Franke episode

I’m disgusted that you would reveal the victims name in this episode. The victims privacy as a minor should be top priority and I feel you should delete this episode and make it a point to edit your episodes.

Robin’s descriptive style and story telling is compelling. She researches each podcast carefully with so much depth and insight. I look forward weekly to listening to We Saw the Devil.
Can't Stomach Listening Anymore

I used to really like this podcast but it has become increasingly clear that the host has no understanding of the mental health components of some of the things she covers. And she certainly has no compassion whatsoever for those who may be neurodivergent or a victim of cult tactics or mental and verbal abuse. Coverage of Chris Chan that absolutely delighted in him being put in prison with no real acknowledgment of the bad behavior of the many many trolls who egged him on at every chance and no consideration given to his mental disability is very short sighted considering all we know about autism and neurodivergence. Calling him a psychopath without also calling the trolls the same is both discriminatory and a vehicle to continue to perpetuate stereotypes and biases that aren't supported by anything. And I just listened to the coverage of the Franke case and it's gross listening to the shaming of Kevin Franke for not "being a man" and stopping Jodi Hildebrant from moving into his house or sharing a bed with his wife is so grossly sexist. The "be a man" mentality is damaging and shows no understanding as to how religious institutions can use coercive control and indoctrination to mentally manipulate people. Neither of these men are perfect or without troubling behavior but good grief can you make it any clearer that you hate men and are severely biased and uninformed about the mental aspects of the bad acts of these men? You can have an opinion all you want but to ignore the science and research is just irresponsible.
Research

Omg … you obviously did no real research … a lot of misinformation … your timeline gave me whiplash all over the place … I have to give one star so I can post this review … and I don’t think you even deserve that …
Love her!
