Heretic

We continue our look-back at some of the most interesting horror films of 2024 with a conversation about Heretic. Heretic has a fantastic premise, featuring Hugh Grant as a charismatic but unsettling man who invites two young Mormon missionary ladies (Sophie Thatcher and Chloe East) into his home for a conversation about religion. The ladies quickly realize that their situation is more perilous and sinister than they initially suspected. It's a film that tackles big ideas about religion and why we believe what we believe. It features an incredible sense of dread and three fantastic performances.

We're joined by friends of the show Brandon Grafius and Jackson Harper for a thoughtful and heartfelt discussion about the complex nature of faith and why the way we choose to live out our faith can sometimes matter as much, if not more, than what we put our faith in.
