One of my favorites
This podcast is incredible with both research and psychology. It’s really fascinating.
Today’s episode mentioned Israel Keyes - if you choose another case to cover, pleeeeease cover him. I know a lot about his crimes from TV and other podcasts but I need to know WHY.
Thank you both for your work on this podcast!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Mixed feelings about this podcasr.
It feels very male dominated and is psychoanalyzed to an extreme. Let your wife speak for Pete’s sake! She wants you to cover Lori but each episode is still dominated by the male hosts obsession with Chad!
Don’t understand why the male host is so obsessed with making Lori Vallow the victim of Chad Daybell....?
The person who has the most convoluted history (in every way) PLUS 3 dead spouses, two dead children, a dead brother, and a dead sister is Lori Vallow.
The only recording we have heard of someone stating they were going to murder their ex husband (who is now dead) is Lori Vallow.
The only police footage we have of a spouse pleading for help from law enforcement (multiple times) to help with his deranged wife who had threatened to kill him (and who is now dead), is Lori Vallow.
Lori has an extensive history of delusional beliefs, possible hallucinations, legal disputes, etc, etc. Because she is cute and perky she seems to pull the wool over everyone’s eyes and is given the benefit of the doubt. Like, she is attractive so she must be the victim!? This is how she has gotten away with everything she has for ao many years! Can’t believe she is still exerting that level of control over what some think (particularly men!).
I think Lori is the black widow and is the evil behind all that has happened. She was the fire that lit the gasoline, who is Chad.
Sometimes evil is just evil. Trying to justify behavior by psychoanalysis is irresponsible in this case.
Thank you both for your commentary on this case. Analysis of narcissistic family goes far to explain Lori’s delusions. Chad’s regurgitated movie themes and the assessment of his cemetery work also puts some of this case into perspective. The crime is so heinous that it commands attention. Thanks for providing a measured context for their combined insanity. I am not a professional in the mental health care world, and I use the term insanity as a lay person. I have no better word for the crime.
