Thriving Stylist Podcast
The beauty industry has changed dramatically in the last 10 years. The days of hoping your good reputation and referrals was enough to grow or maintain your clientele died out and successful stylists today need a real marketing strategy. It's actually never been easier to grow a clientele as a hair stylist or a business as a salon owner, yet stylists are giving up or struggling more often than they are thriving in this incredible industry. When I was first building my clientele, I realized immediately that nobody was teaching true business skills and long term strategies to stylists or salon owners. What good is a license and an entrepreneurial passion without the skills and knowledge to actually make big things happen? The Thriving Stylist podcast is a collection of interviews from super successful but not yet famous stylists, one-on-one coaching opportunities and actionable, strategic marketing techniques that you can use in your business today to see real results. I'm Britt Seva, Social Media & Marketing Strategist for Hair Stylists and I look forward to helping you to create a wealthy life as a stylist.

Addressing Dress Code

I love Thrivers so much and appreciate your help for the non-millennial generation. As I age in this industry it gets harder but your program helps sooo much! I have a younger employee that just came back from having a baby. I'm sure dress code isn't her priority. I did explain the dress code when she was hired. I have mentioned a few times about our dress code but she continues to not get it. Without making her feel bad I'm having trouble finding the right words. (Being self conscious about baby weight)(I did listen to your podcast about dress code but looking for more verbiage) Thanks so much Your the best Lots of love Lizzy

Thriver here! Love the pod, of course. I do have a question. With Tik Tok officially getting banned in the US, what’s your thoughts on Meta, FB, Insta being the main platform again for subtle promotion, building, advertising etc. just looking to pick your brain. Personally, I’m loving the idea of having one less platform to nurture.
Cosmetology Student

Hi Britt! I would LOVE it if you did a podcast about newly graduated stylists and what the heck to do next to set ourselves up for the MOST success in the industry. I’m graduating in a few months and I just want to go all in on continued education and finding a great assisting program, but I don’t want to drink too much from the firehose and not know what I’m doing. Do you recommend joining thrivers society straight out of school? Or should I work in the field for a time and then join? Love your show! You’re ruthless and as a student, I LOVE that!! I need more of it!
