High School Never Ends : A Pop-Punk Dad Podcast

As a fellow pop punk dad, I have little time to consume podcasts but this is one of the few I listen to weekly. Steve and Chris have such a great repoire, know their music, and bring in the coolest of guests!

There is so much I could and want to say about this podcast, but as a fellow dad (3 young daughters aged 3-7) I know we don’t have that kind of time! All I can say is Wow! I found this podcast about 3 weeks ago and have listened to it non-stop, starting back at episode one. As someone who came of age during the late 90’s/early 2000s, a podcast about the best genre of music from a Dads perspective is so awesome! The two hosts (Wingman Steve and Chris-183) are great phenomenal and know how to make great content! Every show feels like I am a member of their dad club, standing around a grill, drinking a beer and conversing with my two best friends. I am so happy that I have a ton of shows to catch up on and cannot thank you both enough for the work you put in to make the show happen! If I could give you 20 stars I would! As an aside, I hope you do an episode on American Idiot (my #1 all time favorite album) as I for sure will call in with thoughts! Keep up the great work guys!

This isn’t kids talking about pop punk—it’s your best friends who never stopped listening to the best music of the late 90s/2000s and they’re right there with you in the mosh pit (or, well, in the seats, because we’re too old for that). Enjoyable and engaging in a variety of levels with new themes to mix things up. Definitely worth a listen!!

Found these guys during their Drive Thru Summer. Being from rural Georgia I’ve never really had anyone to talk to about Drive Thru, who basically released the soundtrack to my high school and college years. Love every episode so far.
