The story of the Coptic Christians finally told

An excellent podcast. Both critical history and a labor of passion. Jonathan’s work has brought the enormously important story of the Coptic people to a new world audience. Carefully researched, fluidly presented, and containing the right pinch of historical humor, The History of the Copts is one of the great new history of podcasts of today!

Wonderful secret history of the Copts

We often forget that history isn’t all conquers and armies and policies and reforms. In the center of everyday life often overlooked is the religious life of the people. I found Jonathan’s podcast very well researched and delivered. I don’t know much about the Copts but I’m confident this podcast will remedy that. Highly recommend to all scholars of history and religion.

Much-needed podcast for a little known minority

This podcast fills a much-needed space to tell the story of one of the world’s most ancient traditions. The Copts are very poorly known in the Western world despite contributing so much to its Christian intellectual and moral roots. Thanks to Mr. Adly for his good work and scholarship!
