In 1911, a devastating fire raged through the Triangle Waist Company, killing 146. It was one of the worst workplace disasters in American history. Many people blamed the factory's owners, Max Blanck and Isaac Harris, and wanted them to pay. California v. Confidential

In 1957, California declared war on a tabloid magazine. Confidential Magazine was the most powerful gossip magazine in the country, with millions of readers and the ability to make or break stars' careers. Titles Are Hard For Me!

Excellent Podcast! I’m really enjoying learning about history on trial. I’ve also been listening to Unsung History. The two tie in very nicely together.

Interesting and great voice

My new favorite podcast. Mira’s voice is great, and the history stories are really good.

I want this to work.... ,

New to Podcasts

I’m new to listening to Podcasts, but with 3 hour commute, Mira’s work makes the drive easy. Her delivery is so compelling, I feel like she is telling ME the story, not broadcasting it to an audience. My only disappointment is that she only posts every other week. With the amount of research and content she delivers I can see why!
