Was the moon landing faked? Did Shakespeare actually pen his works? And were the pyramids really built by aliens? In History's Greatest Conspiracies, Rob Attar takes a deep dive into the theories in the company of expert historians to uncover if there's any truth behind the murky myths. History’s Greatest Conspiracy Theories is produced by the team behind BBC History Magazine. Bad start but promising

The concept is terrific and interesting. The show could be great. However, the first “expert” made his case on the Hitler suicide without acknowledging any of the oddities of the case. He was close-minded. Later, he went on a rant about conspiracy theories in general, blaming the lack of gatekeepers on the internet and populist politicians. History is not tied up in a neat bow and I have certainly had enough of elitists telling me to accept and obey.
