HMLS Joel: Intermediate Spanish Podcast

I enjoy the content and organization of the podcasts in this series. They have enabled m to increase my Spanish vocabulary, improve my understanding of Spanish grammar and enhance my pronunciation.

I struggle with speaking and having these podcasts playing in my earbuds is helping learn how learn in an auditory way so my speaking flows better. Great job Joel!

So helpful for beginning to learn Spanish. I love how Joel asks questions several different ways to help the listener hear a variety of colloquial sentence structures and conjugations for each type of question. It’s also nice that his guests have a variety of accents and inflections. Several episodes repeat a lot of the same questions so the listener has exposure to the material enough times to really learn it. The conversations are soothing to listen to and they are earnest, eg I loved hearing about how all of Joel’s friends take their coffee.

I just discovered this Podcast, although it has been around a while. I really appreciate Joel’s approach to this level of learning Spanish. It is great for the advanced beginner who still has a lot to learn.
