Habakkuk 3:2, “Lord, I have heard of your fame; I stand in awe of your deeds, Lord. Repeat them in our day, in our time make them known; in wrath remember mercy.”

2 Chronicles 7:14, “if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”

If we will

·  humble ourselves

·  pray

·  seek His face

·  and turn from our wicked ways.

He says He

·  will hear from Heaven

·  forgive their sin

·  and heal their land.

2 Chronicles 20:29, “The fear of God came on all the surrounding kingdoms when they heard how the Lord had fought against the enemies of Israel.”



FOUR STEPS TOWARD REVIVAL BREAKTHROUGH

Revelation 2:4-5, “4 Yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken the love you had at first. 5 Consider how far you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first. If you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place.”

1. Revival Breakthrough Happens When We Pay Attention

Revelation 2:4, “4 Yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken the love you had at first.”

REAL TALK: Be honest with yourselves.  Have you lost your first love?



2. Revival Breakthrough Happens When We Remember.

Revelation 2:5a, “5 Consider how far you have fallen!”

REAL TALK: How far have you fallen? Ask God to help you pay attention.



3. Revival Breakthrough When You Repent – Express Sorrow

Revelation 2:5b, “Repent…If you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place.”

REAL TALK: Do I express sorrow for my sins?



4. Revival Breakthrough Happens When We Profess

Revelation 2:5b, “… and do the things you did at first.”

Jesus is Worthy of Our Praise because...

1. He is the Lamb of God who takes away our sin: John 1:29

2. He is the bread of life: John 6:35

3. He is the Light of the World: John 8:12

4. He is the Good Shepherd: John 10:11

5. He is the resurrection and the life: John 11:25-26

6. He is the ONLY way of salvation: John 14:6

7. He is the giver of indestructible joy: John 15:11

8. He has given us the gift of the Holy Spirit: John 14:16

9. He is the resurrected Lord: Acts 2:23-24

10. He is the Coming King: Revelation 1:7-8



FIVE THINGS PRAISE DOES...

A. Praise gets our focus off ourselves and back on God: Psalm 150:2

B. Praise makes the enemy flee: 2 Chronicles 20:22

C. Praise leaves no room for complaining and negativity 

Revival is the church!

"Will you not revive us again,
that your people may rejoice in you?"

-Psalm 85:6
