The blitz is by far the best longhorn football podcast out there, and it isn’t even close. Listening to their game prep pods before the game makes watching the actual game so much more fun and exciting.

The hosts have a tendency to drone on about statistics without adding any engaging commentary or personal anecdotes. Their chemistry feels forced, and the pacing is sluggish, often leading to long stretches where little of interest occurs. Instead of sparking lively debates or offering fresh perspectives, the discussions often rehash common talking points. Additionally, the podcast’s format lacks variety, making it easy to zone out. Without dynamic segments or interactive elements, it feels more like a monotonous radio show than an exciting sports discussion. Overall, while this may appeal to die-hard fans seeking every detail, casual listeners might find themselves wishing for more energy and insight. In a world rich with vibrant sports content, this podcast falls flat.

Fantastic content, but it’s tough to listen to because the audio is different for all hosts, some are clear, some sound like they are talking through a pillow. It should be an easy fix, I imagine there’s an AI tool that could do it in seconds.

I cannot recommend this podcast enough. The Blitz is the best college football pod out there. I’m an Ohio State fan who just can’t get enough football and I have yet to find another podcast that even comes close to the quality of Longhorn Blitz. A+ Gentlemen!
