I just listened to the show with Dr. Amy Shah. I love what she said about protein and fiber. I wanted to mention two ways I get enough fiber in my day. Take 3 tablespoons of chia seeds and soak for a few hours/overnight in your preferred beverage. I like to mix mine with a flavored collagen drink. You’ll get 10g of fiber that you drink down with a refreshing (and hopefully healthy) beverage. For a plant based diet or just someone wanting more plants in their diet I recommend the company Leafside. They make meals/smoothies that are dehydrated and come in individual pouches. You just add water. Let it soak or blend and you have a whole food plant-based meal ready to go. The smoothie I had today had 23g of fiber in it! Check them out at goleafside.com. I have no affiliation with the company. I just really like the easy and inconvenient way to incorporate healthy meals throughout my week when I’m in a rush. Thank you Dr. Youn for what you do!
