Grove Unleashed

Rep Seth Grove is smart & upbeat & has a refreshing ‘can do’ attitude. I sense an open mind there though it is rarely acknowledged except when Grove is telling us of the evolution of his thinking. I believe I could work with this man as I agree with many of his critiques of bills, policy & the way the opposite party treats his attempts at compromise. Our answers on what to do for the people of PA diverge. There is a point in this podcast & in his work for the House when Grove takes shelter in ‘crap analysis’ & talking points fed to him by his national party that do him no service. Our trust in his leadership begins to falter at this point. With regard to redistricting, he could have acknowledged a flawed process: one without opposite party input (which was his fault), and one without consideration of minority representation & a greater degree of partisan balance. His map would have been considered fair a decade ago, without the public being as educated about what fair mapping actually means.
