Bryce struggles to accept Danika’s latest uncovered truth: her secret mate, Baxian, who reveals the mystery of Sofie’s last message. The gang regroups to identify the room that Sofie gained entry to and sets up a plan to access it at the risk of everything they hold dear. Each team member begins to make their peace and resolve loose threads before their operation to break into the Crystal Palace. But when Day is taken away mid-conversation and implies that she’s been caught, Ruhn, Bryce, and Hunt agree to accelerate their plans and rely on Cormac and Tharion to cause a distraction.
