How a Pandemic Puzzle Opened Up a Whole New World for Courtney Elko

Build Your Own Fairytale

Text Kristen your thoughts or feedback about the show

Living alone during the pandemic, Courtney Elko was craving connection and turned to different activities around the house to entertain herself. Courtney took to Instagram to share “puzzle time” with her friends and before she knew it, she started sharing other things - like cooking or makeup. After 20+ years in journalism (and never using “I” in her writing), Courtney put herself back in the stories she was sharing.

Courtney shares how this simple act of sharing about herself was a transformational moment in her life. She soon recognized her storytelling skills were her superpower. Today, she’s coaching female entrepreneurs to get curious about their own story so they can share it in their messaging, content and marketing in order to grow their businesses.
